Willamette Cross Cultural Psychiatry Services

Dr. De Jesús-Rentas is fluent in spoken and written Spanish, and can conduct evaluations of Spanish monolingual and Spanish-English bilingual clients. Dr. De Jesús-Rentas holds active unrestricted licenses in Oregon, New York, Connecticut, Florida and Puerto Rico. He is a member of multiple national organizations including the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. De Jesús-Rentas is currently a Certified Forensic Evaluator for adult and juveniles in the State of Oregon.

There are important differences between Dr. De Jesús-Rentas role as a forensic expert and a clinician performing an evaluation and treatment for a psychiatric condition. As a forensic evaluator, Dr. De Jesús-Rentas does not perform treatment, and retains the right to refuse to become involved in a case for undisclosed reasons.
